It depends on whose side you are standing for . If you are the operators with millions of followers, much like the tech companies, you wouldn't be happy but little you can do as this is a country wide sweep on tightening the loose ends that has been running on for years.

From the followers perspective, it can be either good or bad. I used to follow some of this in Weibo but find the noise is way too loud and the messages are coming in every other minutes. It is both disruptive and cloud my judgement. I have since cancelled all of them.......

Also , take some time to study this chart as it reveals many things that have to be interpreted collectively instead of just relying on one aspect, breakout of trend lines .
