Overall, USD/CAD is ranging across. Recently, USD/CAD broke the resistance zone of 1.26000.
The Bank of Canada ( BoC ) will be announcing its monetary policy decision later at 2200 (GMT+8). It is expected that the central bank will keep monetary policy unchanged at its current settings. With the unexpected negative economic growth during the second quarter, the ongoing rising COVID cases and the upcoming Canada federal elections on 20 September, it is likely that the BoC will not carry out any quantitative easing tapering during this meeting.
USD/CAD’s next support zone is at 1.26100 and the next resistance zone is at 1.29000.
Look for buying opportunities of USD/CAD .
